Retired Pilot Overview
This is an archived demo example of a retired pilot concept — not a current offer and not a client case study. For current services, see the homepage.
What this pilot concept was
This page describes an earlier missed-call recovery and lead intake pilot concept for local service businesses. When a call got missed or an inquiry came in, the idea was that the lead wouldn't go cold: the customer would get a clear response path, the key details would get collected, and the team would receive a clean summary to act on.
The concept was AI-assisted, not fully autonomous: the system would handle the first response and intake, while people stayed in control of the conversation and every decision that mattered.
Who it's for
Local operators who depend on the phone and on consistent follow-up:
- HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
- Contractors and home services
- Auto repair and detailing
- Salons and appointment-based services
- Other call-dependent local businesses
It's the right fit when missed calls, slow replies, buried quote requests, or messy intake are costing you real jobs.
The missed inquiry capture workflow
- Missed call or inquiry — a customer calls while your team is busy, after hours, or sends a message that would otherwise sit unanswered.
- Customer receives a response — a prompt, friendly reply using messages you've approved in advance.
- System collects basic details — name, contact info, the service issue, urgency, and a preferred callback time.
- Staff receives a lead summary — a clean, organized summary instead of a missed number with no context.
- Human follows up — a person on your team reviews the summary and takes it from there.
What the business receives
A clean lead summary for each recovered call, including:
- Customer name
- Contact info
- Service issue
- Urgency
- Preferred callback time
- Recommended next step
Guided Launch — how setup would have worked
Guided Launch was the setup path for this retired pilot: Fort AI would configure the workflow, test it with the business, and walk the owner through activating call forwarding or missed-call routing with their phone provider — then support them through go-live. It was designed to start as one controlled pilot workflow, with the business owning every customer follow-up.
Fort AI would have handled
- workflow configuration
- fallback number / routing setup
- SMS and intake setup
- lead summary format
- notification routing
- AI instructions
- emergency exclusions
- duplicate handling
- test scenarios
- activation checklist
- go-live support
The business would have handled
- phone provider login
- call-forwarding or missed-call routing activation
- approval of scripts
- confirmation of lead destinations
- final customer follow-up
Offer status
This pilot offer is retired and is not currently for sale. Fort AI Systems' current public services are a free Lead Flow Snapshot, the Lead Recovery Launch ($350 — the full Lead Flow Audit plus one approved capture workflow on your own tools, guided activation, and your first 60 days), and optional Website Lead-Flow Fixes from $900. No subscription is required to start. See the homepage for details.
No guaranteed outcomes applied to this pilot, and none apply now.
Human handoff
Every workflow includes human handoff rules that you review and approve. If the system doesn't know an answer, it doesn't guess — it uses a safe fallback, collects details, and routes the customer to a person.
Important notes
- AI-assisted, not fully autonomous.
- Sample demo workflows only — no fake case studies and no client results.
- Final setup depends on your business tools and the approval rules you set.
